The PE Film EPE Underlayment is a multi-functional composite floor mat specially designed for floating floors. It is widely used in flooring systems such as laminate flooring and solid wood composite flooring. This product integrates the high-strength PE (polyethylene) film and the highly elastic EPE (pearl foam) foam layer, achieving the integration of four functions: moisture-proofing, sound insulation, cushioning, and leveling.

What are the features of our products?

1.High-efficiency moisture prevention and barrier. The high-density PE film on the surface serves as an excellent vapor barrier layer.
Significant noise reduction and sound insulation. The EPE foam core layer can effectively absorb impact energy, reducing noises caused by footsteps, item drops and furniture movements.
2.Elastic buffering and leveling. The product has excellent elasticity, providing a comfortable foot sensation. It fills in the tiny irregularities of the floor, ensuring uniform force distribution above the floor and preventing the locking mechanism from being damaged due to being suspended.
3.Effective noise reduction (decompression and sound insulation): The PE Film EPE Underlayment significantly reduces impact noise when walking, creating a quiet living environment for apartment or multi-story residential users.
4.Auxiliary insulation
The EPE material has certain heat insulation properties. When combined with the moisture-proof layer, it can reduce the transfer of cold sensation from the ground. In the environment where underfloor heating is installed, it helps with the uniform conduction and retention of heat.

FAQ

1. How to Install?

(1) Clean the floor: Ensure the cement or wooden base is dry, flat, and free of dust or debris.

(2) Lay the underlayment: Unroll the material with the PE film side (usually colored side) facing up and the EPE foam side facing down, making full contact with the subfloor.

(3) Seam sealing & fixing: Use edge bonding tape to seal the joints between rolls, forming a continuous moisture-proof barrier.

(4) Install flooring: Lay the floor directly on top of the underlayment without waiting for any drying time.

2.For what scenarios is it applicable?

(1) Compatible flooring types: Laminate flooring, engineered wood flooring, and click-lock flooring.

(2) Suitable areas: Living room, bedroom, study room, activity room, and dry basement.

(3) Not recommended: Not suitable for full-glue Vinyl (PVC) flooring unless specifically stated in the installation guide.

3.What is the production cycle and payment method like? What is the MOQ?

Production cycle: 20–25 days

Payment terms: L/C or T/T

MOQ: Standard 20GP container (trial orders are supported)

4. What If the Goods Are Damaged?

If you find any damage upon receiving the PE Film EPE Underlayment, please inspect and provide photos within 7 working days. We will evaluate the situation and offer solutions such as free replacement in the next order or other compensation arrangements.
