Why Choose 10-R EVA Over Other Underlayments?

While materials like polyethylene (PE) or cork are available, EVA offers the best balance of properties:
vs. PE Foam: EVA is denser, more durable, and provides significantly better soundproofing.
vs. Cork: EVA is 100% waterproof (cork can absorb moisture and rot) and more uniform in thickness, preventing telegraphing of subfloor imperfections.
