Solid wood flooring is milled from a single piece of natural timber, typically 18–20mm in thickness. Unlike engineered wood, it contains no layers, no core board, and no artificial composites — just pure, solid hardwood from species like oak, walnut, maple, or teak.

Common types of wood

• Oak: The texture is clear and shaped like a mountain, with high hardness and good stability. It is currently the most popular material for household use.

Installation and Maintenance
